Exercise - the path to a healthy lifestyle.
Students experience a wide range of sporting activities which encourage them to compete but with respect and consideration for others when doing so. The school does believe in them trying to win but also expects them to accept both winning or losing gracefully. The sports department is focused on providing our students with meaningful sporting experiences which will help them to live a healthy active lifestyle and develop skills and attitudes such as respect, commitment, cooperation, team spirit, resilience, determination and resilience.
Sport plays a vital role in the enrichment of both the students and Roemichs. Every student is given the opportunity to develop skills and interests whilst improving their physical, social and mental wellbeing.
Pupils experience a range of internal competitions for boys and girls including a sports day, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and table tennis competitions. Students also compete against other schools and in competitions organised by AISEN.
Roemichs facilities include volleyball courts, a football pitch, running track, a multipurpose court for basketball, handball, hardcourt tennis and netball.
By encouraging participation the School’s Sports Department will complete the development of each student by inculcating in them a sense of fair play and a determination to excel.
